Pastor Lyle Phillips and his wife, Pastor Allyson Phillips, serve as the Lead Pastors of LegacyNashville Church in Nashville, Tennessee. Together, they are passionate about building the local church and seeing God’s transformative work flourish through His people. Pastor Lyle is also the founder of Legacy Academy, a Christian school for PreK-6th grade in East Nashville, TN, and serves as the President of Legacy Nashville Music, a platform dedicated to sharing the message of Jesus through worship. Before being called to Nashville, he spent years as an international missionary in India and Africa, working to rescue children from human trafficking. His life's dream is to see the manifest presence of Jesus change hearts, transform cities, and dwell richly within His Church and His people.

2010 - Missionary with Iris Global in Africa and India
2012 - Founded Mercy 29 Ministry to rescue sex traffic victims
2015 - Founded an Iris Global missions base in Nashville
2016 - Founded Legacy Nashville Church
2021 - Founded Legacy Academy Christian Elementary School
2026 - President of People of Presence “POP” Music
PRESENT - Serving over 2,000 people in Nashville and Franklin every Sunday at our four services.
FUTURE - Establish a kingdom expression in 12 global cities, Christian education K-college, feed 100,000 people. Create businesses to strengthen the movement in Christian music, athletic apparel and pastoral training.
When I’m not sermon prepping, teaching and hanging with our Legacy Nashville Church team, you’ll catch me having sushi with my amazing wife, watching basketball (Go Cats!), playing with our 4 kids, and sharpening my golf swing and jiu jitsu techniques.
